When a credit check is performed a footprint will appear on your credit file, this can be seen by other lenders and financial organisations. CRA’s provide shared credit information, fraud prevention information, public information including the electoral register.
Where you are financially linked to another person, their data may also be provided by the CRA’s and FPA's and a footprint left on their file too. You, or they, can apply to the CRA's to have this financial link removed.
